WWKIPDAY #2

It was at last year's Worldwide Knit in Public Day at Costa Coffee that I met my current craft group.
This year, the day fell right in the middle of Ramadan which means that none of the coffee shops are open, so we met Al Sadu House instead.
Two hours of knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching with some very creative ladies.
Thanks to Mini @minizdiary for organizing it once again.

Happy crafty day!

It looks like it was fun, Tammy! I love doing something creative in the company of women.

How is your summer going? Has it gotten very hot yet?

What a great day - I love the whole idea of it. I'm glad you all found a new place to gather so you didn't miss it. Who is making that fabulous doily? It's gorgeous! I hope you're having a fabulous weekend. I have to finish the graphic design on a newsletter for the Friends of Multnomah Falls. Then done! Yay! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

How smart to get together and enjoy such a wonderful craft...in spite of coffee shops being closed. I see lots of beautiful pieces being created.

Wonderful, Tammy! I'm so glad you got to participate, and thanks for letting me see some of what you experienced. I love stitching with others and it is one of the reasons I enjoy our blog exchanges. xx

Hi Tammy, didn't realize you knit also. I keep thinking I am going to learn but just to busy doing all the other things I know how to do. Probably would relieve my shoulder pain if I used both hands equally.

Hi Tammy,

I read in our paper that they were knitting in the library, for Knitting in Public day, but unfortunately had other plans.
Must have been a fun time with your friends knitting and crocheting.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend
hugs
Carolyn

Fun! I missed it this year. I didn't know about it until late Saturday and already had plans. But, I knit in public at least once a week. So.... lol :-)
