Distractions

distraction
dɪˈstrakʃ(ə)n/
noun
plural noun: distractions
  1. 1.
a thing that prevents someone from concentrating on something else.

Sunrises
And sunsets
Clouds

 Blue skies
And the moon
Flowers
Plants
And lots and lots of walks

These are the things that have me distracted of late.  It seems such a shame to waste anytime indoors when we can finally enjoy the great outdoors without overheating.  In the past week, there's been lots of clouds and several short little drizzly rains which have been a nice change.  Of course, there's always my work at school and work at home that keep me busy, too.  Just when I think I can find a rhythm to my days, there always seems to be something to distract me.  I hope that wherever you are, whatever you are doing, that all is well in your little corner of the world.
Best wishes and blessings,

Hi Tammy,
I loved this post. :) I share the same distractions.

Looks very summery there to me. We had our first little dusting of snow here a few days ago, but it's mostly melted except for in the shady spots. There are still some colorful fall leaves on the trees too, though the snow made most of them fall off. It's been cold (lows in the 20s at night) but we're on a warming trend here through the weekend, when it's purported to be going to near 70 on Sunday. The ups and downs of Central Illinois weather. ;)

Enjoy.

Hi Tammy,

Lovely to see some beautiful photos from your place. Sunsets and sunrises are always special and I get excited when I see all the colour. I enjoy my walks in the morning - in fact today I just had to snap a few photos which I will share later.
Happy weekend
hugs
Carolyn

Perfect word to describe me lately too! I've been walking and baking and cooking and trying to get doctors and vet in before Winter and there's so much to do before then plus the holidays....I need to try and focus on one thing but there's so much! LOL! I've tried to stay caught up with you and I loved your Farmer's Market! Wow! Big one! Ours here is pitiful! LOL! Some people here buy stuff at the grocery stores and try to sell it as farm produce at the FM just higher priced....some people! Glad yours was such a success! I did manage to get to the organic/natural store while I was in Mountain Home seeing the doctor. I need to move closer to a larger community where they have these things. TTYL!

These are all lovely distractions, Tammy. I don't blame you for getting out every chance you get. It's very nice here today but probably won't last much longer. Diane

I don't blame you for wanting to spend as much time outside as possible when the weather is nice. That's one thing I really miss in the extreme cold temps we get here (northern IL) in the winter.
