O Christmas Tree

No, not my Christmas tree, but one I snapped while out and about over the weekend.

And another that I crocheted from a pattern found at The Royal Sisters.

I'm trying to find a balance between school, the upkeep of the every day and crafting for sanity's sake. Needless to say, my days are full. I know you know what I'm talking about.

Hope your week is off to a great start.

Pretty tree that you crocheted. :)

Actually my days are pretty quiet despite all of the events of the season. That's why I wrote that piece about there being a "method to my madness" because of the fact that I start everything so early - months ahead of time - when December comes, I'm not frantic or overwhelmed because all of the main stuff is done. I don't craft, but I do create for parties that will be happening. But it's just not as busy as most.

Now, if you were to ask me again on Friday, I'd probably say otherwise, since that's when I'll be at full throttle for Sarah's big birthday weekend, ha. :)

Hope the remainder of your week goes well. Take time for you and to relax.

Linda

I know what you're talking about. I'm writing a study to teach in Jan and Feb on top of it all. but it makes me stay home and enjoy my tree!!!

I decorate my house each year with tiny trees. I love the crocheted tree you made. It would fit in well in my home (grin). I totally understand how this time of year can get to us. Art for sanity's sake is sometimes what it's all about.

I love your little crochet tree!

We are not pulling out all our decorations this year...only a few just to keep things simple this Christmas.

Wishing you a lovely rest of the week!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

Hi Tammy, it is hard to find the right balance this time of year; things tend to get so hectic. Hope you had a great Monday. :-)

Oh yes, Tammy. I can certainly identify with trying to find balance. Tonight I was so tired I just sat in a nice, comfy chair and watched two episodes of the Waltons. That helped. Hope the rest of your week is super. Susan

Darling crocheted tree, Tammy. Could make a cute garland alternating with the snowflakes you made. I've given up on balance, now I strive for doing nothing - but that's unlikely to happen soon. :-)

Have a lovely day!
